Prince’s Island Park

This downtown park on the Bow River is the site of numerous festivals and events, offering playgrounds, trails and great views of the city. Come here for a concert, picnic, or some outdoor skating in the wintertime.

Banff National Park

Banff National Park is a 2 hour drive from Calgary and is Canada's oldest national park and was established in 1885. Located in the Rocky Mountains, 110–180 kilometres west of Calgary, Banff encompasses 6,641 square kilometres of mountainous terrain, with many glaciers and ice fields, dense coniferous forest, and alpine landscapes.

Saddledome

Scotiabank Saddledome is a multi-use indoor arena in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Located in Stampede Park in the southeast end of downtown Calgary, the Saddledome was built in 1983 to replace the Stampede Corral as the home of the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League, and to host ice hockey and figure skating at the 1988 Winter Olympics.
