Santana

The first and best apartment we have ever known and loved. Honestly, the memories I have of my time here are unparalleled, and the space had a large part to play in that. Our apartment, while small, was perfectly conceived. The views were sublime, the balcony idyllic, and the light was every photographers' dream. Ioana, the building manager, is superb at her job, and runs the building with a huge amount of care for the property, and every tenant who calls it home. Any issues (of which there were very few) were dealt with extremely competently and efficiently. I would highly recommend considering Santana for your next home - it won't be a decision you regret.

The Santana is a great building to call home. It’s walking distance to some grocery stores, great restaurants, rec centres/pools, beaches and anything you want to do downtown. The apartment is laid out nicely and the patios are great for a small garden or table and chairs to enjoy the views. Since posting the original piece above the management went from Hollyburn to Lionsgate Communities. Resident managers went from 1 for a single building, to 2 that are expected to looking after 3 other buildings in the West End. They do their best job, but they can only do so much. Building is less maintained, cleaners tend to come once a week and only do common areas. There has been an increase in overnight campers in the yards/ upper parking lot as well as just general debris around the yard.
